Vaccinate for Everyone’s Benefit

KNSJ urges everyone that is eligible and not health restricted to become vaccinated against the Coronavirus and to encourage their friends and family to do so.  You are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination in San Diego County if you are 12 years of age or older and live or work in the County.  Persons wanting become vaccinated should first check with their healthcare provider.  Alternative options can be found by going to the San Diego County government website (www/sandiegocounty.gov) and clicking the Covid-19 button.  You do not need an appointment, but appointments are available.  Minors must have parental consent.

The county and the Padres are collaborating on two vaccination clinics at Gallagher Square adjacent the outfield at Petco Park on June 12 and June 26. Open to the general public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m.  The first 1,000 vaccinated will get a free commemorative T-shirt and all will also be able to enter a Padres ticket raffle.
