As an independent educator, spoken word artist, and facilitator, Viet Mai harnesses his talents to enhance the lives of others through workshops, speaking engagements and problem solving tools. He was on the 2017 San Diego Slam Team, which won the National Poetry Slam Championship, and has impacted thousands of students and educators throughout Southern California.
After earning a Masters degree in Social Innovation and becoming a San Diego RISE fellow in 2019, Mr. Viet created The Likehearted Project in 2021, a social enterprise to help solve some of the toughest challenges facing communities worldwide.
