TODAY’s show includes an interview with Stephen Houlahan, a former Santee Council and registered nurse who is running against Congressman Darrell Issa. Houlahan says he is running to protect democracy; Issa voted against certifying results of the 2020 election. Houlahan also wants to protect the rights of women, whereas Issa is a coauthor of a bill to ban abortion nationwide, with no exceptions even to save the life of a mother.
