KNSJ will be reprising the second episode of Custom Taylored. Custom Taylored highlights the early blues, jazz, gospel, and pop that influenced the later development of rock music. This episode features some of the very earliest of recorded blues, called country blues. It also touches on the songster tradition of the time. Nearly all the featured artists were born before the year 1900 and include “Blind Lemon” Jefferson, “Furry” Lewis and Lead Belly, among others.
